After getting last minute flights tickets and booking the hotel as two reporters, Guido and John met for the first time at the airport and here we go, landed in the magical Split in Croatia for the 9th edition of Ultra Europe, at Park Mladeži.
More than 150,000 attendees from more than 140 countries, in addition to millions of Ultranauts from around the world streaming the #ULTRALive broadcast
Hotel not far away from the festival and we rent a car. First day of festival feelings were euphoria and curiosity.
Strict controls (good) and inside, with people from all over the world smiling and sharing the passion for dance music.
The festival is divided into three zones: UMF Radio, RESISTANCE and Mainstage.
UMF Radio is a kind of a “meeting point” and allows a quiet and relaxed atmosphere with nice music and cheerful people, with a bar and merchandise spot.
Resistance is a portable planted building that immediately hints at the impact and harshness of the sound (sort of like a cubic spaceship). You enter and the bass surrounds the darkness and the green and red lights that alternate with the cool colors of the ledwalls, then the speakers explode and you experience the tension and depth of the sound.

The performances were various and interesting:
Hi-Lo, a master of techno house, is in our opinion the best performance of Resistance stage with Nicole Moudaber and Massano. The classic star Carl Cox closes by destroying everything with his unique style.

Gryffin on the mainstage was great and emotional, with an otherworldly visual show.
