Hundreds of thousands of ravers and music fans look forward to the summer synonymous with “Festival Season” every year.
Sziget Festival, approaching its 29th edition, has always been on the agendas of fans and industry insiders. The festival, which takes place annually in Budapest on the Óbudai-sziget (an island located in the middle of the Danube renamed “The Island Of Freedom”), will be held Aug. 10-15 in 2023.

To reach the 600,000-attendance from over 103 countries, Sziget Festival will feature performances of the highest caliber from its 60 stages. It will be a week where the crème de la crème of pop, rap, electronic and rock on a European and international level will take turns for a week of truly unforgettable live performances.
A vacation surrounded by people from all over the world and performing arts of all kinds. In an area comprising more than 34 venues, several indoor campsites for all needs, relaxation areas, food, rides, sports for a concentration of fun with no age limit.

Italy will be represented on the Mainstage by rapper Lazza, becoming the third Italian artist in 30 years of the festival to perform on the main stage, before him only Jovanotti (2006) and Subsonica (2010).
Also carrying the tricolor flag aloft will be Mezzosangue, Stain the Canvas, Tale of Us, Vinicio Caposela, 99999999, Extraliscio, Santi Francesi, Studio Murena, Dumbo Gets Mad, Palmaria, Savana Funk, Meganoidi, Red Room, Gianpiero Carbonara dj, Carlo chicco dj, Fab MayDay dj, Mr. Bogo, Chroma Sound System djset and Andrea Fiorito dj.
Italy will be present not only on the stages for the artistic side, but also on the production side.

Lightstage, the official stage of the Sziget Festival, is an Alternativa Events production and for the year 2023 also has the support of Puglia Sounds, the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Italian Cultural Institute of Budapest and Lazio Sounds.
