IMS Ibiza 2025 dedicates a special spotlight to 40 years of Jungle & Drum ‘n’ Bass, exploring the cultural impact and global evolution of a genre that emerged from the UK streets and became an international phenomenon.

• “Four Decades of Jungle & Drum ‘n’ Bass: The MCs to the OGs to the New Breed” will dive into the genre’s multicultural roots and transformation over time. Moderated by Silvia Montello (Voicebox Consulting/AFEM), the discussion features DJ Krust, Julia Toppin, Keir Tyrer, Bailey, and Charlie Tee.

• “Too Many Man, Too Many Many Man” will explore gender parity in the Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass scene, discussing the past, present, and future of female representation in club lineups, production, and labels. The panel includes MC Chickaboo, Amy Jayne, Sarah Cole, Nicola Whiskey Kicks, with moderation by Julia Toppin.

• “From Local to Global – The International Evolution of a Very British Genre” examines how this uniquely British sound traveled the world, inspiring new generations of artists and fans.
