Compact design suitable even for the smallest DJ booths
Designed with the most essential DJ booths in mind, the CDJ-1500X is ideal for bars, small clubs, and home setups. While it includes many of the key features of the flagship CDJ-3000X, the new multi player has a significantly smaller footprint. This makes it easy to fit the multi player into tight spaces and combine it with turntables and other devices to create a customized configuration.
10.1-inch touchscreen and improved track visualization
CDJ-1500X includes the flagship CDJ-3000X’s 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, enabling consistently smooth track selection and intuitive performance.
The browse screen displays up to 15 tracks at once, allowing you to see more music in a single list and easily find your next track. And the waveform preview helps you understand the structure of the music at a glance, so you can easily choose tracks that best match the flow of your set.
The main waveform display now includes visual indicators for vocal positions, points where the BPM changes, and phrase structures. This helps you easily understand the progression of each track, giving you more confidence when deciding how to mix during your performances.
Using Playlist Edit, you can reorder tracks within playlists directly on the CDJ—no need to go back to your laptop/mobile device or re-export tracks to your USB drive. With the choice of darker or lighter display modes, on-screen information remains highly visible no matter where you’re playing—from dimly lit DJ booths in clubs to brighter environments and even outdoor daytime events.
Cloud connectivity and NFC login
Access your rekordbox cloud library and millions of tracks from streaming services directly on the CDJ-1500X. With built-in Wi‑Fi, you can play your tracks via rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, as well as tracks from platforms such as Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal thanks to StreamingDirectPlay.
You can instantly access your personal settings and playlists via touch NFC login by tapping your mobile device—with rekordbox for iOS/Android installed—on the CDJ. This, together with cloud connectivity, lets you arrive at the venue carrying only your smartphone and start playing immediately from your music library.
The new CoBeat service improves crowd interaction on the dancefloor
Want to interact better with your crowd? The CDJ-1500X is the first AlphaTheta multi player compatible with the new CoBeat service, which helps your audience feel more involved in your performance. By scanning a QR code (created in advance by you or the venue), CoBeat gives the crowd the ability to browse a catalog of tracks you’ve already selected. The audience can vote for tracks to be played or send you a message to request other songs. All of this information is collected on the CDJ-1500X, where requests are displayed on the browse screen, ready to be dropped into your set and create a shared experience with the crowd. People can also add emoji to others’ requests to share the dancefloor energy in real time. These reactions appear as pop-ups on your smartphone screen, helping you gauge the crowd’s response during your performance. You can enable CoBeat whenever you want to receive requests, or disable it to focus only on mixing.

Customizable design that fits into any environment
Thanks to its minimalist user interface and matte black finish, the CDJ-1500X blends harmoniously into any setup or environment. On the front panel, an illuminated area with two USB ports (1 Type‑C, 1 Type‑A) makes it easy to connect USB drives in a clearly separated area, so they can’t be accidentally ejected during a performance or if the booth is crowded. You can choose from 12 colors for the LED illumination to match the mood of your show. And, thanks to the screw holes on the sides of the multi player, you can add optional panels to customize the look of your CDJs with different colors and materials.
