For more than two decades Tomorrowland has been building worlds. Fantasy kingdoms, cities floating above the clouds, enchanted forests, and forgotten civilizations have all served as the backdrop to what has become far more than a music festival. In 2026, however, the feeling is different.

With its new theme, CONSCIENCIA, Tomorrowland appears to shift its focus away from the exploration of external worlds and toward something deeper: human connection, collective awareness, and the energy that has always been at the heart of the experience in Boom.

From July 17–19 and July 24–26, hundreds of thousands of People of Tomorrow will return to De Schorre for an edition that promises to be one of the festival’s most ambitious in recent years.

A Line-Up That Brings Together Every Side of Electronic Music

Looking at the first wave of announced artists, one thing becomes immediately clear: Tomorrowland 2026 is not relying solely on EDM superstars.

Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, Alesso, and Steve Aoki continue to represent the festival’s most spectacular and globally recognized side. These are the artists who helped transform Tomorrowland into a worldwide phenomenon and who continue to attract fans from every corner of the globe.

Alongside them, however, stands a selection of artists that perfectly reflects the evolution of today’s electronic music scene.

Argy and ARTBAT bring the world of melodic techno and immersive audiovisual performances. Amelie Lens and Sara Landry represent a techno movement that has become increasingly central to major festival programming, while John Summit and FISHER embody a new generation of house music artists capable of dominating both clubs and global charts.

More than just a line-up, Tomorrowland 2026 offers an accurate snapshot of what electronic music has become today, featuring more than 600 artists across 16 stages.

Tomorrowland is also known for its last-minute surprises. Just hours ago, a mysterious secret act was added to the Mainstage schedule on Sunday of the first weekend. No name. No clues. Just an empty slot on the world’s most iconic electronic music stage.

The Most Anticipated Debut

Among all the announcements, one of the most significant is undoubtedly Calvin Harris.

Despite being one of the most influential figures in dance music for well over a decade, his appearances at Tomorrowland Belgium have been surprisingly rare. His return for the 2026 edition is therefore one of the most highly anticipated moments for fans and adds even more weight to an already remarkable line-up.

CONSCIENCIA: Beyond the Stage Design

Anyone familiar with Tomorrowland knows that its annual theme is never just an aesthetic concept. Following the success of last year’s ORBYZ theme, CONSCIENCIA becomes the creative foundation of the 2026 edition.

Every Tomorrowland chapter tells a story that comes to life through the Mainstage, audiovisual shows, artistic installations, and the overall festival experience. CONSCIENCIA appears to explore the idea of universal connection — an invisible thread linking people from different cultures, languages, and backgrounds.

It is a message that perfectly reflects what happens every summer in Boom, when people from around the world gather under the same sky. If Orbyz told the story of a civilization hidden beneath the ice, this new chapter seems to look inward, focusing on what connects people rather than what surrounds them.

Tomorrowland Remains One of a Kind

At a time when many large-scale festivals are beginning to look increasingly alike, Tomorrowland continues to stand apart thanks to its unique ability to combine music, spectacle, and storytelling.

It is not simply about numbers, elaborate stage designs, or superstar headliners. It is about the feeling of stepping into a place where every detail contributes to building something greater than a music festival. For that reason, even after more than twenty years, each new edition continues to generate excitement and anticipation. And 2026 may well become one of the most compelling editions of the last decade.

Boom is special

As the world of CONSCIENCIA slowly begins to take shape, one thing is already clear: Tomorrowland has no intention of stopping its evolution. New ideas. New artists. New stories. Yet always the same promise. For a few days in the heart of Belgium, music will once again become a universal language capable of bringing the world together.

Tomorrowland Pays Tribute to Avicii with the Return of a Special Experience

Fifteen years after his unforgettable first Mainstage performance in 2011, Tomorrowland once again honors Tim “Avicii” Bergling, the artist who helped shape the sound of a generation and bring electronic music into the global mainstream. The experience combines never-before-seen images, personal stories, and an audiovisual narrative exploring Avicii’s journey with Tomorrowland, inviting visitors to reconnect with the artist behind the music and the moments that defined an era.

For the first time ever, original items from Tim “Avicii” Bergling’s personal collection will be displayed outside the Avicii Experience Museum in Stockholm. Several iconic pieces connected to his career and creative process will be showcased, offering fans a rare glimpse into his world. Visitors will also gain access to a dedicated Avicii space featuring exclusive and limited-edition merchandise created specifically for Tomorrowland Belgium 2026. Access to the experience is limited and requires advance reservation.

Take the Stage with the Tomorrowland Academy Contest

There is another side of Tomorrowland that continues to grow in 2026: its commitment to emerging talent.

The Tomorrowland Academy is the festival’s official platform through which aspiring DJs and producers can showcase their skills and connect with the wider Tomorrowland universe. It is not only about technical ability but also about artistic identity. A mixtape becomes a personal story, a musical vision that goes beyond simply selecting tracks.

Alongside the mix itself, the artist’s story plays an important role. Their journey, motivation, and creative direction all become part of the application process. It is an opportunity that represents far more than a potential spot on the line-up; it is an entry point into an ecosystem that combines education, visibility, and artistic growth.

To participate, applicants simply need to upload a 30-minute mixtape via the Tomorrowland Academy website. The submission deadline is June 22.
