On the Beach Festival

A festival over two weekends: from July 19 to 21 and from July 26 to 28, promising to set Brighton and the UK on fire. If the prospect of a beach party on Brighton’s beaches seems almost antithetical, considering the English climate, the concept of the festival is unique for such an event: the two weekends are structured as almost standalone events, each with a different genre as a theme and international high-profile guests. The weekend of July 19-21 will see the first day with Bicep, Ross From Friends, Job Jobse b2b Palms Trax, the second with 2manydjs, Boys Noize, Eats Everything, Mall Grab, and the third with a live performance by The Kooks. The second weekend of July 26-28 will have the first evening as an energy-packed party with dnballstars presenting Sub Focus and Andy C, followed on Saturday by Carl Cox & Friends (Alan Fitzpatrick, The Blessed Madonna…) and ending on Sunday with a live performance by The Libertines. In short, there’s something for everyone at On The Beach!

Junction2 Festival

Its latest roster for the 2024 edition. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Boston Manor Park in London from July 26 to 28, this year’s edition marks a milestone as the festival expands for the first time to three days, instead of the historical two. The opening day of the festival is a fascinating journey through the sounds of melodic house and techno. Led by ARTBAT, CamelPhat, and Paul Kalkbrenner (Live), the lineup is accompanied by acts like Ameme, Yotto, Fideles, Miss Monique, Parra For Cuva (Live), Layla Benitez. Saturday will focus on the more historical side of house and techno with Adam Beyer, Jeff Mills, and Jon Hopkins, while Sunday will be led by Barry Can’t Swim, The Blessed Madonna, Honey Dijon, and JOY (Anonymous). This year, the organizers also promise unprecedented b2b sets, so if you love surprises, Junction2 and its industrial vibe are your ideal choice.

Weekend Festival

A festival held in Hämeenlinna, Finland, previously also held in Helsinki, Stockholm, and Pärnu. Since 2012, the festival has been one of the main reference points in the Finnish panorama and will return to Espoo for its thirteenth edition on August 2-3. If you have reservations about the Nordic climate, don’t worry, the lineup put together for the 2024 edition will keep you warm. Spanning almost the entire electronic spectrum, Weekend Festival summons the biggest names in the scene, including Alan Walker, Alesso, Boris Brejcha, Nicky Romero, R3HAB, Tiësto, Timmy Trumpet, Ann Clue, Atmozfears, Brennan Heart, Chris Avantgarde, Coone, Da Tweekaz, Darude, just to name a few. If you’re looking for alternative places to spend the summer dancing under the stage, with a focus on sustainability and in a tolerant environment like the Finnish one, Weekend Festival is for you.

Teletech Festival

Founded in 2017 in Fallowfield, Manchester, starting as a party for residents and aiming to offer a new alternative to Manchester’s techno party scene. Over time, it has gained a reputation as one of the wildest and most respected techno parties in the UK, and its guests have never been anything less. Teletech Festival is the zenith of this clubbing reality where it all started, now in its third edition and expected for August 3-4 at the BEC WAREHOUSE in Manchester with 5 stages and over 65 artists. Among them, you’ll find the best that the techno scene has to offer: 999999999, I Hate Models, Azyr, Bad Boombox, Oguz, Jazzy, Basswell, Patrick Mason, and many others! If you love techno and its more industrial side, what’s better than the festival of one of the UK’s biggest party venues in one of Manchester’s largest warehouses?

Electric Picnic Festival

Also known as “the Irish Glastonbury,” it awakened the entire city of Stradbally, Ireland, since 2004. Although the Irish electronic festival scene is not as in the spotlight as the UK’s, Electric Picnic has an enviable record: It was voted Best European Medium-Sized Festival at the 2010 European Festival Awards, and has been voted Best Large Festival in each of the last four editions of the Irish Festival Awards since their inception in 2007. Electric Picnic also won eight awards in Hot Press’s 2011 Festival Awards, including Best Large Festival, and in 2023, it was awarded ‘Festival of the Year‘ at the Ticketmaster Awards. Officially born as a “music and arts” festival, the next edition offers numerous workshops and craft stalls, but Electric Picnic’s highlight is its lineup, which has nothing to envy to the best continental festivals for the over 75,000 ravers who will invade Stradbally: Calvin Harris, Noah Kahan, Kasabian, Artemas, Datsko, Funk Tribu…there’s something for everyone. If you’re looking for an eco-friendly festival with lots of activities and an alternative yet mainstream lineup, why not choose the green fields of Ireland at Electric Picnic?

Creamfields Festival

The UK’s largest electronic festival and one of the world’s largest since 1998 sets the standard in the UK event scene, attracting over 70,000 people per day during its 4 days of spectacle. From August 22nd to 25th, the Liverpool countryside turns into a veritable chaos, with a lineup as wide as it is iconic: The biggest names include Calvin Harris, Chase & Status, Fatboy Slim, and Example, but there are also Tiësto, Sub Focus, Pete Tong, Solomun, Solardo, Peggy Gou, Patrick Topping, Martin Garrix, Hybrid Minds, Gorgon City, Eric Prydz, Charlotte de Witte, Camelphat, Alesso, and Andy C, just to name a few. The English response to Tomorrowland, both in vibes and in grandeur, prepares to put on a show once again this year, but Creamfields’ history and culture far exceed those of the Boom festival. If you haven’t done so already, treat yourself to this experience at one of the world’s largest and most historic electronic festivals, you won’t regret it!

Field Day Festival

In the heart of London, at Victoria Park, the new edition of Field Day returns on August 24.
Since 2007, a reference point for UK indie music, Field Day is a single-day festival that summons the best names in the electronic and non-electronic panorama. Justice (already present at the first edition in 2007), PinkPantheress, Charlotte de Witte, 2manydjs, Bambii, Brutalismus 3000, George Riley, horsegiirL, Tiga & Mohawke, John Glacier, Mura Masa, Romy, Sega Bodega, Shygirl, Skin on Skin & KETTAMA, Vegyn, Yaeji, Yves Tumor. The names of this edition speak for themselves for one of Europe’s hippest festivals.
