The interactive exhibition dedicated to Tim Bergling opened its doors for the first time to visitors. After two and a half years of hard work, in fact, the Avicii Experience was officially inaugurated on February 26, 2022 by the Prince of Sweden Charles Philip and his wife, Princess Sofia. Also present were creative director Ingmarie Halling, Klas Bergling (Tim’s father), Pophouse Entertainment CEO Pep Sundin and Content Producer Lisa Halling-Aadland.

Located at the Space Stockholm, more precisely in the basement, the exhibition offers the public a closer look at the life of the artist Avicii and of the person, Tim. In fact, within the tour itinerary, you can observe true and proper reconstructions of what were the most significant environments for the artist during his career (such as the bedroom where he began to produce) but also tools, personal items, photos and videos.

For example, it is possible to see the first studio (Earfile Studios) where Levels was produced or the Martin X guitar that accompanied Tim during his last performance in Ibiza in 2016. There are also installations representing the profile of Avicii’s face or murals with writings and images of the DJ. At the Avicii Experience it’s possible to listen to an exclusive version of Sunset Jesus played on the piano, recorded by Carl Falk, together with the material used for the creation of the album “Tim” and the first unreleased versions of Levels.

The various rooms have been designed to interact with the visitor who, among the activities present, can improvise himself as a DJ and mix Avicii’s songs, wear a viewer that shows the lyrics and sing to them and, in the final hall, a real Pioneer console with which to play and identify with the Swedish artist during his live shows.

Our intention and hope is that the visitor and the fans will actually leave with a feeling of light and a sense of that kind of joy and love that Tim felt for creating music with people that he loved“, these are the words of Lisa Halling- Aadland on the objectives that the exhibition has set itself towards the participants. The experience is in fact an exclusive opportunity to discover new music and listen to stories never told before.

Avicii Experience is a partner of the Tim Bergling foundation and part of the proceeds are donated to the association dedicated to the Swedish DJ, to help all those suffering from mental health problems. On the occasion of the inauguration of the project, a line of clothes and accessories was created that can be purchased both on site and, in part, on the Space Market website.
