[2026-05-14 03:46] From May 28 to 31 in the stunning Stella Maris lagoon in Umag, Croatia, SeaStar Festival presents the eighth edition of Sea Star Festival with the theme “Summer’s Awakening”, bringing the iconic energy of the EXIT team to the beautiful Adriatic coast.
Hosted in the Stella Maris lagoon in Umag, the festival is the official kick-off of the European summer season. with a top-tier lineup led by techno pioneer Boris Brejcha alongside international artists such as Holy Priest, KI/KI, BIIA, Layla Benitez and also Xzibit, creating a bridge between urban and electronic genres.
Organized by the EXIT Festival team, this eighth edition promises a mix of global electronic music and regional Balkan talent, confirming itself as the festival that opens the European summer.
The seventh edition was phenomenal, welcoming over 44,000 visitors from more than 40 countries along the spectacular Istrian coast, from the highly anticipated show by Tommy Cash, Eurovision star and Croatian crowd favorite, to the powerful pop live set of Swedish icon Loreen, and the ultra high-energy set by Lost Frequencies, the Belgian name behind some of the most famous international summer hits. For four days, Sea Star’s stages turned into a true hub of sound and vibes, with performances by Indira Paganotto, Patrick Mason, Paolo Ferrara, Senidah, Voyage, KUKU$ x Buntai, Marko Louis, DJ Jock and many more.

Since its debut in 2017, it has become a benchmark for the Balkan music scene, attracting over 40,000 visitors thanks to a high-adrenaline mix of electronic music, hip-hop and trap, set in a landscape of crystal-clear waters and Mediterranean pine forests.
The 2026 edition features a 4-day program: Thursday and Sunday are dedicated to the Welcome Day and the After-Party respectively, while the heart of the festival reaches peak intensity on Friday and Saturday nights. The venue stands out for its stages overlooking the lagoon and for the Nautilus Arena, a former ATP stadium converted into a festival space, capable of delivering some of the best acoustics and visuals in the European festival landscape. With a focus on both global superstars and regional “trap-rapsody” talents, Sea Star 2026 is the meeting point between the Mediterranean spirit and contemporary club culture.
