MTV EMA 2016 – Martin Garrix vince come Best Electronic e nel Best World Stage, dove il Duomo di Milano è candidato due volte

Un’edizione molto interessante degli MTV Europe Music Awards 2016 tenutasi a Rotterdam il 6 Novembre, che vede diverse novità legate al mondo della musica dance/elettronica e non solo.

Calvin Harris candidato ma non vincitore come “Best Male”, stessa cosa per il grande duo The Chainsmokers nella categoria “Best New” come novità dell’anno per le loro incredibili hit.

Martin Garrix vince il “Best Electronic”, supera cosi Major Lazer, David Guetta, Calvin Harris e Afrojack e successivamente si esibisce con Bebe Rexha nella sua “In The Name Of Love“

Il “Best Video” va ai Daft Punk con “Starboy” ft. The Weeknd

La categoria “Best World Stage” vede due ottime candidature per la Piazza del Duomo di Milano, che nel 2015 ha ospitato i Duran Duran ed Ellie Goulding.
Il vincitore in questa sezione è l’Isle of MTV a Malta, che sempre nel 2015 ha ospitato Martin Garrix.
