Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) è la maggiore conferenza mondiale per la musica elettronica, ha ultimato il programma della 24esima edizione. Dal 16 al 20 Ottobre vi saranno oltre 2500 artisti e 600 speaker in più di 40 location e gli organizzatori stimano circa 400,000 visitatori da oltre 100 nazioni.
Nel 2019, il focus proposto è sulla Francia e sulla celebrazione del 100esimo anniversario degli strumenti musicali elettronici.
Oltre alla musica, ma sempre collegata ad essa, ADE presenta i nuovi trend social e tecnologici e tratta anche di film e fotografia, rendendo Amsterdam il punto d’incontro per la community elettronica globale.
100 years of electronic music | Focus on France
La conferenza inizia Mercoledì 16 Ottobre con l’evento con l’artista britannico SOHN e la Metropole Orkest e si chiude Domenica 20 Ottobre con ADE Hangover, un festival cittadino gratuito all’NDSM. Oltre al focus sulla Francia, con un programma dedicato al De Balie con diversi showcase ed artisti, viene allestito uno speciale museo al De Brakke Grond che presenta la storia degli strumenti elettronici con talks e workshop con i pionieri di essi da tutto il mondo.
ADE Program
Il programma si concentra anche su sostenibilità, innovazione sociale e salute mentale.. Educazione e sviluppo di talenti prendono sempre più rilevanza centrale, con attività ad ADE Sound Lab e ADE University per la formazione di giovani nuovi professionisti come il Writers Camp in Vondel CS.
Il 2019 vede anche il ritorno di ADE LIVE, il programma su due giorni dedicato alla ricerca e scoperta del talento.
Dopo il focus sul Sud Korea dello scorso anno, la forte crescita musicale in Asia è ancora ampiamente rappresentata nel programma giornaliero e notturno. I padiglioni nazionali al De Balie dedicano una speciale attenzione a Giappone e Cina tra gli altri.
Quest’anno nasce ADE Zen Space al De Waalse Kerk nel centro di Amsterdam, dove i visitatori possono rilassarsi con concerti chill, meditazione e installazioni speciali audiovisive.
