UNTOLD ONE: Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, Kygo and Flo Rida among the big names for the new era of Romanian festival

UNTOLD, ranked 3rd in the Top 100 Festivals, continues to push its lineup further into its new era with major additions such as Martin Garrix, Marshmello and the historic Afrojack b2b R3hab. The next chapter of the festival, titled UNTOLD ONE, will take place from August 6–9 in the Transylvanian city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

After the first names already announced — including The Chainsmokers, Kygo, Lost Frequencies, Sebastian Ingrosso, MËSTIZA, Steve Aoki and the live acts of Flo Rida, Swae Lee and Tash Sultana — the festival confirms an edition that aims to bring different worlds together: electronic, pop and urban culture. The program will feature 200+ artists and is expected to welcome more than 470,000 fans from all over the world, ready to celebrate the beginning of UNTOLD’s new decade.

The first lineup announcement clearly reinforces the festival’s vision: an event capable of bringing together key names from the global scene in a place where hundreds of thousands of people become ONE, creating an experience recognized worldwide for its scale, production, and emotions.

Leading the electronic music side are some of the biggest DJs and producers in the world. Among them stands out Martin Garrix, one of the most influential figures in the scene, who returns to UNTOLD’s mainstage with a show built around decade-defining hits such as “Scared To Be Lonely” and “In the Name of Love”, both surpassing 1.5 billion streams.

Garrix was voted No. 1 five times in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs (a record achievement) and finished 2nd in 2025, confirming his status as a global superstar and headliner of the world’s biggest festivals. After his exclusive set for UNTOLD’s 10th anniversary in 2025, he’s ready to write history once again this summer.

Among the most crossover names on the lineup is Marshmello, one of the few DJs able to dominate both electronic and pop charts at the same time. With over 50 million monthly listeners and tracks like “Happier” surpassing 2.5 billion streams, Marshmello is a global phenomenon.

His virtual concert in Fortnite, watched by millions, remains one of the most innovative moments in recent live music history.

Another highlight of UNTOLD ONE will be the historic b2b between Afrojack and R3hab, one of the most anticipated sets for EDM fans. Completing the first wave of announced DJs are also The Chainsmokers, Kygo, Lost Frequencies, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Aoki and MËSTIZA. New live acts, designed to make the lineup even more eclectic, will be announced in the coming days.

UNTOLD ONE will offer eight stages, several music spots and a series of unique experiences, celebrating music, love, energy, and connection for four days and four nights in the heart of Transylvania, Romania.
