Monetunes, a music rights company focused on the creator economy, has been named to the world’s Top 1% of music publishers in less than 12 months since its launch in January 2025, placing in the top 1% globally by catalog output and user-generated content (UGC) usage, according to Muso.ai analytics for 2025.
Impact at a glance (Jan-Nov 2025, Muso.ai)
- 1.4B+ combined streams across platforms

When experience becomes innovation
Monetunes was founded in 2025 by industry entrepreneur Antonio Di Puorto after firsthand witnessing how billions in artist royalties go uncollected due to fragmented global systems and lack of transparency. Built initially as an MVP from a laptop while Antonio was living in the Philippines as a digital nomad, Monetunes began as a simple solution to help independent artists recover lost royalties.
“I saw countless creators lose money simply because they didn’t understand publishing, neighboring rights, or where their royalties were even supposed to come from.” – A. Di Puorto
Monetunes now represents thousands of works written by artists all around the world, including recordings by Anuel AA, Charlie Puth, Chance The Rapper, Roberta Flack and Zedd.At the core of Monetunes’ infrastructure is a growing layer of AI-powered automation, used to scan billions of short-form videos, match audio usage across platforms, detect ownership conflicts, and surface unclaimed royalties at global scale. These systems allow Monetunes to process volumes of UGC and rights data that would be impossible to reconcile manually, transforming royalty recovery into a continuously running, data-driven operation.
What started with zero users, zero catalog, and zero funding rapidly evolved into a full-stack global music publishing and royalties platform. Today, Monetunes now represents thousands of artists worldwide and powers royalty collection across more than 100 countries, proving that real industry change doesn’t start in boardrooms, but by solving real creator problems.
Monetunes Took The Stage At ADE 2025
In October, Monetunes hosted its first-ever event at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), in collaboration with Matchfy, one of the leading music promotion platforms in the industry and R/HOOD, a community-driven platform that unites DJs and creators from around the world.
Behind the decks were some of Monetunes’ earliest adopters, artists like Mad Miguel, Toxic Wraith, and Just Fede – creators who believed in the platform long before its global recognition. Their presence symbolized Monetunes’ core mission: empowering the artists who shape today’s creator-driven music culture.

A founder story built for the streaming era
Antonio Di Puorto is an Italian entrepreneur, former artist manager, and founder of Monetunes, the tech-enabled publishing platform helping artists recover missing royalties in 200+ countries.

Born near Naples and raised between Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands, Antonio began his career as a record label founder before transitioning into artist management. His most notable success was helping BEAUZ scale from underground acts to global touring artists with collaborations alongside marquee names like Zedd and Krewella — ultimately leading to an exit to Live Nation.
Antonio also co-organized Blockeley Music Festival, one of the largest virtual music festivals ever built inside Minecraft, featuring artists such as Sam Feldt, Vini Vici, Sofi Tukker, and many more.
Frustrated by systemic royalty losses and the lack of transparency in traditional publishing, Antonio launched Monetunes in early 2025 from the Philippines with a laptop, an idea, and a mission: build a publishing solution that actually protects creators.
Within one year, Monetunes has entered the world’s Top 1,000 publishers, backed by more than 1.5B streams, 2.4B UGC views, and a rapidly expanding global roster. The company now operates fully remotely, collaborating with creators, labels, and partners across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Building the AI-native publishing infrastructure
Unlike traditional publishers, Monetunes focuses on global royalty recovery and automated metadata compliance, identifying royalty gaps and black-box losses across 200+ territories. Its technology serves as a modern infrastructure layer between creators and rights societies, an area most emerging artists struggle to navigate.
What Monetunes Automates:
- Global metadata registration
- Royalty collection across 200+ PROs/CMOs
- Black-box royalty recovery
- AI-powered UGC detection and real-time usage analytics
- Monthly royalty statements
- Multi-currency payouts
With growing demand from independent labels, distributors, and management companies, Monetunes is quickly emerging as one of the fastest-scaling publishing infrastructures in the global creator economy. Learn more about Monetunes at: https://www.monetunes.com
