From July 4 to 18, the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia will host major international artists across three weekends for the new Hellwatt Festival.
A cultural and artistic experience designed to combine technological innovation, high production standards, and real value for the audience. These won’t be “simple concerts”, but events built with the logic of the world’s biggest international festivals. From July 4 to 18, the Campovolo venue will host days divided into multiple moments, from 12:00 until late at night. After the first announcement of Kanye West, today part of the remaining lineup was revealed: among the artists are Ozuna, Wiz Khalifa, Ice Spice, The Chainsmokers, Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack, DJ Snake and Alok.

Production across Boulevard, Main Stage and EDM Set Night

Andrea Cattini, president of CVolo, explained that the festival calendar will unfold across multiple dates, with events on July 4, 5, 11, 17 and 18. The setup will be that of a major crossover event, with many artists rotating on stage to create a continuous flow of show and entertainment. Music will accompany the audience throughout the entire day, from the afternoon until late at night, continuing even after the Main Stage closes with activities and sets scheduled in the other areas.
Each day will be structured in different phases: pre-party, live shows on the Main Stage, EDM Set Night also on the Main Stage, and afterparty.
The Boulevard area (already used by Ligabue at the last Campovolo for cover bands, exhibitions and screenings) will be transformed into a true cinematic set: from 12:00 to 18:00 it will host Takeover@Hellwatt, curated by Zamna Festival, the well-known international format born in Tulum (Mexico) and now a global benchmark for electronic music. The entire area will be set up with futuristic, immersive scenography. The Boulevard will also return to the spotlight at the end of the night, with afterparties continuing until morning.
The main names will take the Main Stage starting from 18:00, with a clearly international offering. For July 4, the headliner closing the night has not yet been announced, but the opening acts are already heavyweight: Poison Beatz, Baby Gang, Offset, Ty Dolla $ign, Ice Spice and Wiz Khalifa. Sunday, July 5 will feature Lolita, Nicky Jam, Ozuna, Rita Ora and The Chainsmokers as headliner.
Saturday, July 11, it will be Alok, joined by opening acts Benny Benassi and Clean Bandit.
Closing each day will be the EDM Set Night, featuring top-tier artists:
on July 4 Lost Frequencies and Martin Garrix;
on July 5 Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and DJ Snake
on July 11 it will be the turn of Swedish House Mafia
July 18: Special Opening Show TBA, YE (KANYE WEST) 

«July 17 will be the most important date, there will be 103,000 people and another 100,000 who will try to climb over into this concert, it will be a very intense, important concert. We can’t say the name. Negotiations for eight months, we managed to win to bring one of the most important artists in the world» explained Victor Yari Milani, Founder & Artistic Director HELLWATT Festival – International Productions Developer for RCF Arena.

An international production

For the creation of Hellwatt Festival, a creative and production team of international level has been involved. Among the partners is Moment Factory, a Canadian studio known for large-scale digital scenography and multimedia installations: among the projects it has worked on are the Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show with Madonna, Billie Eilish’s streaming concert, and the Las Vegas Sphere. Production direction is entrusted to Vittorio Dellacasa. The festival is conceived with a sustainability-oriented approach, for example through the reuse of abandoned works.
The announced investments are very high (during the press conference figures higher than those of Tomorrowland were mentioned) and the goal is also to develop new events, including Halloween happenings and, above all, a mobile structure (unprecedented in Italy) designed to host a Christmas festival at the RCF Arena.

The gates for the Main Stage are scheduled to open at 5:00 p.m. Early Entry ticket holders will be able to enter 15 minutes earlier through the dedicated entrance.

VIP ticket holders for the VIP Village will have private parking in the reserved area behind the stage, a dedicated entrance, and direct access to the VIP Village with exclusive views and dedicated services.
